Hello furfolk of FA! Today I just want to tell you a short story about how a super talented Artist helped me improve my own techniques. I started chatting with Assk_Shadow back in mid 2024, after doing an art trade with them. I was amazed by the level of talent they possessed, and we have been discussing traditional and digital artwork techniques ever since! This individual lives to create artworks in all forms! I have enjoyed watching them evolve into a very masterful artist over the last nearly 2 years, as well as seeing them become more and more enthusiastic about being involved in the fandom! Though studying their "textured shadowing" technique, I have been able to vastly improve my digital painting skills. I'm a traditional artist that has always struggled with the digital medium. I feel like I'm finally proficient enough to do more digital coloring at least. (I still do my sketches on paper first) Please check out their most recent journal here:
