I have returned from my visit with my family and my third niece's birthday celebration! I am...VERY tired! I conked out last night and took a small coma, but I'm currently chugging an energy drink so I can endure the day until time to sleep again. (I think I need more rest before I'm completely normal again, but I'm getting there!)

Anyways, the party was a blast. Got to sit in an echo chamber of a private room listening to the shrill, elated screams of about ten or so pre-teens for a couple of hours. Made the third niece cry with my gift--happy tears, mind--so bonus points for me, ha.

Then, the brother-in-law treated me and my parents to supper and then we went on a Pokerun through the city. (That's what we call swiping gyms and Pokestops in Pokémon GO.) I now have enough balls to throw at critters with reckless abandon. Or, rather, as they say, I gotta catch 'em all.

I did not sleep well at all Saturday night because the elder sister's tiny Russian Blue cat, Arya, decided I was her personal pillow--if she wasn't suffocating me with her fur, she was pinning my head down by my hair. It was worth it, though--I enjoy a little nighttime kitty cuddling, something my own cat won't do with me. (She prefers annoying the dude with aggressive headbutts while he's trying to sleep. Why can't that be me?!)

So, anyways, now that I've had a day to recuperate, I gotta think of what I want to draw next... My muse is as tuckered out as I am, so she's not whispering ideas directly into my brain right now. Perhaps that's my cue to rest some more... Ah well.
