Merry almost-Christmas, everyone!

Decided I felt like typing up a journal, ha. Anyways. Hope ya'll are doing good as we approach the Final Boss that is the End of 2025! I feel like it's been a decent year with a few ups and downs, but we've all managed to make it through somehow. As for me, I can't complain too much. After all, I can barely remember the year since it flew by so quickly... Ah, the joys of getting older...

What all happened? Well, to name a few things off the top of the ol' dome:

- Had a record-breaking Snowmageddon in February
- Celebrated nine years as a couple in February
- Lost a beloved pet in March
- Picked up cross-stitching for like the third time in my life
- Participated in Art Fight in July
- Bought a new car in August
- Celebrated a seven-year engagement in November
- Received a new engagement ring (original one broke years ago) in December

I honestly don't know what to expect in 2026, but as per usual, I will be drawing as much as humanly possible. This year, I introduced two new characters to my repertoire that I want to flesh out, so expect to see them soon! (And, hopefully, I'll have a name for my Unnamed guy! Still jotting down and taking ideas! Hell, I might even grant the person who helps pick a permanent name with a free artwork...)

Anyways, getting back to the holidays--my family Christmas get-together is this weekend! I'm so stoked to travel to see family! I haven't seen everyone under the same roof since last Christmas, so it's definitely something I've been looking forward to. My elder sister is renting an Air BnB to house us all, and we're gonna be traveling a day early to spend the night there and then have our festivities the following day before returning home again. Obviously, I will be unavailable during this time, but know I'm having a blast!
