Hello! I said I'd mess with this space later, and I guess I've been around here long enough (at least out in the open) to finally go ahead and do so.

I'm a writer in the shabby disguise of a poet, and occasionally I convince myself I can draw (spoiler: I can't.)

The hardest part about being a writer for me is that the craft is painfully impersonal - writers don't get to see your
reaction to a particular piece. Often times my words come out a jumbled mess that I doubt anyone else can sort out,
but if you happen to make sense of my words (and for some crazy reason enjoy the experience) I'd love to hear it.

You might be surprised the effect a few honest words can have on someone's day, even if it's not mine.
Just something to think about the next time an artist moves you.
