Today is turning out to be pretty rough.

I was looking to just delete a few images from my bases folder on my laptop. Mostly WIPs from before base completion. In the process I accidentally must have selected the whole folder. All the bases I created and bases I had purchased rights to have been deleted. I skip going through the recycling bin usually, as I did in this case. I intentionally hit the permanently delete button, not having realized that I had selected the whole folder.

This is a major issue. I use the bases to make adopts that I sell or do commissions on. I need these for income and I have just lost almost all of the information, and some of which I cannot access again through means of the creators I had purchased the bases from. Many of these creators have since removed the bases from their websites, or have deleted the bases altogether.

I have some of my own bases uploaded to my google drive, but there are many that may now be gone forever. Bases I had spent days on are now completely gone.

I am working to find ways to recover these files. I'm so stressed and anxious. I just lost so much time and so much money from a stupid mistake.

If anyone has any suggestions/reccomendations/words of advice, I would really appreciate it right now. This is a severe blunder on my part, and I'm desperate to recover what I've lost.
