So I'm back with an update on life.

(TW: physical and verbal abuse and aging parents)


My parents are declining in health so theyre going to be moving to an assisted living facility most likely next year. So me and Brady will be moving to our own place in upper NY somewhere. We wont be too far away from them, so I can visit them and stuff. Stuff with my mother has been really stressful. She's become violent towards me and my Dad. While it's distressing when she hits me, she's frail so it doesnt hurt too much. I would rather her hit me then my Dad.

My Dad is doing infusions for his alzheimers which has slowed the progression, but I worry about what the stress of my mom is doing to him. So I try to do what I can to keep that stress off of his shoulders. Our family friend has been helping him with getting our house cleaned and fixed up. I've been very thankful for his help because all of this has been super stressful.

Brady has had a few hospitalizations over the past few months from complications of diabetes. But he's working on managing that better, which I'm really proud of him for!

I officially lost 100 pounds on my diet! I'm super proud of the progress Ive made! It's been a hard hard road but I'm doing my best and that's all that matters. I'm continuing with my esketemine treatments which has helped me from consistantly being in the deep darkness that I was in. Ive had some episodes and spiralling, but its been more triggered by stress. I do have high blood pressure from that stress so I do need to keep an eye on that.

I havent had much motivation to do much art since art fight. But Ive been doing some paintings with paint markers every once in a while. I would like to finally start taking comms for my digital paintings but I would like to finish this one piece Im doing for a friend before I think of doing that. I just havent had much motivation to pull out my tablet. Which sucks, but Im sure when things settle down more, I'll be able to get back into digital art. I'll upload some backlogged art Ive made, just so I dont have to look at my old shit art XD

Things are fine I guess? Which is better then bad so Im thankful haha
