Jeez has it really been 2 years since my last journal? Heck

So, quite a few things have changed in the past few years. Of course the main thing is that I came back after Twitter totally fell apart 2-ish years ago.

The other part is that you probably noticed that I got FA+. This is a large departure from where I was at about 6 years ago, when I despised FA. However, things can change, and I'll happily give things a second chance when said changes happen for the better. In the past year or so, with all of the large staffing changes at FA, it genuinely feels like a conscious effort is being made by staff to be more transparent with site operations. The fact that they're also backing it up with tangible site improvements has been good to see, so I've decided to help them out.

Especially with social media becoming more centralized under corporations and feeling almost sanitized, it's nice to still have a community-run site where community members can be themselves. Tons of different NSFW art can still be freely shared here that would be considered "inappropriate" for more corporate sites, and I want to support a place that supports that content. Now, is FA perfect? No, but they're at least making strides to improve now.

But yeah, that's where I'm at! I'm doing my best to remember to post new art here when I'm able to make it.

And lastly! I'll be at MFF 2025 next week, hopefully I'll see some of you there!
