Dingeella Christmas Meme
This is a journal entry here to appease the requirement of reposting as proof I did the meme as validation to be entered into a contest to potentially win a free photomorph
So without Further ado I present to you a Christmas meme
sponsored without commercial interuption by Dineegla the moose and Associates, specializing in fulfilling your mistletoe fantasies using state of the art movable mistletoe hangers, just have them visit and you and a partner will be kissing under the mistletoe in no time at all.
And now onto the show:
1. Real tree or Artificial Tree?- I used to be a total real tree person but that was till we started placing bubblers on the tree and I got to see how much heat a set of lights can create and the dangers real trees can be. That and trees nowadays are so much more improved than the past, gone is the thing that looks closer to a clothes hangers dressed in tinsel than trees, todays fake trees are tough to tell difference when decorated.
2. Italian lights, LED lights, or Old fashioned bulbs on your tree? I like the old bulbs that were many colors and looked like a flower. Those were nice as if one bulb died you just had one bulb out, not an entire strand. Its too bad because alot of the lights sold now are that way as if they are made to fail yearly. I hate complete circuit bulb strings.
3. Do you prefer Tinsel or Garland? I like a shiny tree, lots of sparklies. Garland is nice for a fireplace though.
4. What kind of ornaments are on your tree? When we had one I put sparkly bulbs and white ones going for a symetrical look on my tiny 3 foot tree. As a kid we had ornaments of all shapes and sizes and materials from wood to ceramic to,,, pasta angels.
5. Do you have a favorite? I liked the Halmark speaking ones. One we had was a star trek shuttlecraft. It had a button you pushed and would go "shuttlecraft to enterprise x2 Spock here, happy holidays, live long and prosper. That ornament was fun and annoying at the same time. Other than that bubblers
6. Angel on the tree top or a star? Angel
7. When do you take the tree down? We often kept it up about 4 days after Christmas. Within 3 days with the real one though as you had to go early to get a decent one and by time Christmas rolled around they were dangerously dry.
8. Do you have a Nativity Scene (Creche)? As a kid we did, as an adult no but I had cute rotties protecting the tree.
9. Where do you set the Nativity Scene up? A table nearby
10. Do you celebrate Advent before Christmas? I never even heard of that till I got to Canada where they sell these chocolate calendars, sadly the chocolate for it sucked but you shouldn't expect much from a dollar candy calendar I suppose.
11. Do you celebrate the Feast of the Three Kings?
