Character Profile: Kaelan Duin

Age: Exact – unknown, but he looks like he's in the late 20’s to early 30’s. He's actually older.

Origin – Northern realms Celtic Territory

Physical: Kaelan is a male anthro lupine hailing from the Northern Highlands of the Celtic Territories. He stands about 5’10, is of medium build, well toned and muscular. He has grayish-golden eyes which can be both soft and captivating as well as look deep into your soul. He has dark colored body hair/fur which has tinges of grey. A close inspection will reveal a few scars from old battles on his chest, legs and back.

Kaelan wears a typical cotton lenia with long sleeves, a kilt of his clan colors, darker green with a deep blue and brown, a leather belt which holds his sporran, quache, and dirk. The kilt style is that of a great kilt where the excess material is brought up and pinned to the shoulder with a clan crest. Kaelan pins his to his left shoulder. Kaelan will also wear breeches, leather, or woolen in design, generally in some natural color designed for blending into the background while hunting. Around his neck is a leather thong with a small tri-quatra of silver.

When armed for combat, Kaelan will have a spiked targe on his left arm, axe, basket hilt sword in a baldric riding on his left hip, a short sword in the small of his back set for a right hand draw and a dagger below it set for left hand draw. He may also carry a pike and or claymore style sword. Kaelan is also proficient with a bow, but that is mainly for hunting.

Personality: Kaelan is a fierce and respected warrior in his own right. While not a noble, he is from a respected clan and has a respected name. Kaelan has a boisterous side to him when “out with the lads”. Like most highlanders, he loves his whiskey, mead, ale, women, and song, as well as the occasional bar fight. He trains regularly with his various weapons as well as hand-to-hand combat. Kaelan is very skilled with a forge and several of the weapons he carries he made. Kaelan often will trade his smith skills for goods and services.

When it comes to romance, Kaelan is big on wooing, and ensuring their pleasure before his own. A passionate lover, he is most definitely lupine in his dominating techniques and approach, yet gentle and respectful at the same time. He is adventuresome and enthusiastic to say the least. His romantic side permits him to set a somewhat magickal scene or mood.

Kaelan has a strong sense of honor and when viewed from a distance, always seems to be aware of everything going on around him. He also has been known to sit quietly in the shadows in the back of a tavern simply watching and listening while slowly sipping his ale, mead or whiskey.

He has become known for becoming an trusted advisor to many, a loyal, caring and loving friend, Having a family, blood or chosen, is important to him.
