I was recently warned by one of our members about the most recent (apparently there have been many) attempt to hack and infiltrate FA using phishing and spyware. This is why there have been so many changes to the security and whatnot on FA.

Well, I just received a note from one of *our* members saying "You should totally get this tattoo!" and then posted a link. The link looked LEGIT (had the furaffinity.net and everything it's supposed to) so I clicked on it. Little did I know this person had put in a fake url up by NAMING it the furaffinity.net page but embedding a furaffinity[dot]t35[dot]com url. It looked like a site crawling with internet cooties, so I immediately closed it.

Naturally the password for this group has been changed, and I will be monitoring my computer VERY closely over the next few days. As for you all, make sure you inspect links sent to you on FA VERY carefully.

In the meantime, the person who sent it has been messaged to change his passwords and stuff because he looks like he might've been hacked. I won't post his page unless I absolutely have to (i.e. you guys ask who it is enough), or unless he doesn't respond back within about 12-14 hours. He has been un-watched and will have to pm me to let me know what's going on.
