Solar Diamond is a gem fusion between a Sunstone (lion) and Red Diamond (dragon). Although the gem they make is technically a deep reddish orange diamond, he prefers to be called Solar Diamond. Sunstone, a lion with an oval-shaped gem on his forehead is a paranoid, intelligent, and caring being. He doesn't like hurting others, other than Red Diamond when he feels up for it. Sunstone's gem weapon is an ethereal-like armor that glows with golden light and is etched with flowers. His abilities manipulate plasma and turn sand into condensed glass structures. Red Diamond is a sadistic, flirty, and impulsive dragon with an octagonally shaped gem in the center of his chest. Res Diamond's gem weapon is a heavy one-handed long sword that he can ignite at will. Being a diamond, his aura has an effect on other gems. He brings out the "submissive" side off them. When they fuse, and they stay fused for very long periods of time, their personalities merge together and creates a new personality. Solar Diamond gains his intelligence from Sunstone, he is less sadistic, and he can be protective and caring for those he loves. Red Diamond's aura is significantly reduced.
