That godforsaken charging port is somewhere in the Bermuda triangle I guess, because its tracking info is all like “??????????”. Tech guy’s great and is trying to either find out where it is or get a new one, but even best case scenario ultimately means some more waiting.
I’ll be contacting my couple of in stasis clients soon after I deal with some unrelated stuff. The laptop itself works fine and all in progress art files are backed up so I can get back to work on them when this bullshit is over. Unless the clients end up wanting refunds, which would be an understandable option to take at this point.
That said, I do have a means of creating digital art. I’m even leveling up a bit from a pocket computer; a relative is generously letting me borrow their iPad and I’m locked into this mobile stuff enough now that I’ve acquired a cheap stylus for drawing/painting almost like normal again. I don’t have all my fancy brushes or pen pressure, but I do have the ability to make lines with pixels baybay!
Ya know what else I have? Bills. And an addiction to drawing animalthings. So to unrust myself, keep paying them expenses, and keep my mind off the ever encroaching robot uprising, I will likely be offering some cheapo simpler shit, something along the lines of no WiPs, several free edits, and very short turnarounds (not 24 hours, but like 72). The other Ko-Fi stuff is being put away for now. No new orders on my pre-existing types for a bit. I’ll set times and days of the week slots for new shtuff will open. We love our hand drawn fast food, do we not? ;^B
Thanks for the patience. I’ll try and stop whining about my silly situation and make things work dammit lel. And thanks to everyone who has been bein’ nice at me ‘bout my phone stuff. Shit feels like Digital Art: Hard Mode, idk how phone artists do it. I ain’t been replying much because I’m a shy little weirdo and I hate phone typing, that’s all.
