Hey, everyone! Who’m I? Well, I’ve been around a while, mostly as a writer. I started out writing a sci-fi anthology series for college radio. After graduation, that somehow shifted into STREKzine cartooning and fanzine writing. ELFQUEST, GUNDAM and LUPIN III stiff, mostly. I've been active in anthro comics since the '90s, originally breaking into pro work as an inker on SHANDA THE PANDA and KATMANDU. I later switched to scripting on projects like HAVOC, INC, JUSTICE ON HIGH, LARK & KEY, and OWLHOOTS. I've also had stories in GENUS and FURLOUGH and done some indy material in the U.S. and overseas.

Overall I have just over 50 comic book credits as an inker, detailer or writer, and a couple of graphic novel collection credits. Just another furry journeyman samurai writer, I guess. Currently a MASTERLESS samurai writer -- I’m coming onto two years since my last comics gig -- but ignore the tears and wailing and read on.

More recently, I've authored a couple of sections for a new two volume film book on Mexican lucha libre and horror flicks. Viva Blue Demon (I also have a large collection of original lucha film artwork and lobbies). In an odd aside,

Most of my published comics work to-date’s been vaguely insane space opera. A big pulp fan, I occasionally take a stab at pulp-flavored storylines, like the unpublished pilot/concept for ARCTIC X. Then there are the ineffective giant robots, clueless and lazy space ninjas, romping masked wrestlers, desperate accountant/pirates and the other slightly "peculiar" figments...

Yep. Complicated. OKAY, 'cluttered'. I'm the first to agree.


More recently, I spent a year proofing classic pulp reprints (THE SPIDER, CAPTAIN SATAN, OPERATOR 5) for e-publication at Radio Archives, and have written some 30 ebooks over at Amazom. So far, 9 have been turned into audiobooks, with...er...mixed results. As a partial result, I've set up Adventure Voice Services, and am now working full-time as a reader/producer, in what I laughingly call my "free time".
