Hello! I'm Thalia, I'm a digital artist, small-time cartoonist, writer, and sometimes physicist. I'm here to draw things.

I specialize in digital art (cartooning, nothing too complicated), but I sometimes work with traditional mediums (primarily pencil sketches, sometimes acrylic paints or markers). I’ll use this site to display examples of art that I make for myself and select commissions. I don’t have a dedicated fandom focus, but I’m a frequent participant in forum-based roleplaying games where panfandom interactions happen, so I might be inspired to draw those sorts of events. Commissions can also be fandom-based! It’s all dependent on who I’m communicating with at the time.


If you want to get in touch with me, here are some ways I’m likely to notice:

- Send me a note! I’ll try to get back to you ASAP. If I don’t answer you in a week, please don’t send me another message–it’s likely that I’ve forgotten to check my inbox or something, so you’re better off trying to contact me through another method.

- Give me a shout! I’ll sift through and answer ones via note that specifically ask questions or are aiming to strike up appropriate conversation. Use your common sense on what “appropriate” means. I don't mind if you send me thanks or just a general hello or anything! Chances are good that I won't answer, but know that I appreciate your feedback anyway!

- Send my Dreamwidth account a PM! Same deal as with notes here. This is my primary account for roleplaying identification services, but it also acts as a hub for my character worldbuilding babbles and commissions for the Dreamwidth roleplaying community in general.

- Send me a private message on Plurk! Plurk is my primary social networking site, so my timeline has a lot of useless junk on it that you may or may not be interested in following. But since I have it open almost all day, sending me a private plurk is likely the fastest way to get in contact with me, if you have the ability to do so (and the site isn’t broken).

-Send me a PM/ask on Tumblr! Tumblr is my primary art blogging site. I don't follow or reblog much of anything, but I do memes there occasionally and keep it regularly updated with new doodles/commissions.

- Send me a private message on DeviantArt! Recently dusted off my account and I've been keeping it updated semi-regularly, but it's definitely not my primary site. Might not answer as quickly as I would in other places.

- Catch one of my drawstreams! Just recently set this up and still playing around with formats and such. I'll make an announcement somewhere ahead of time if I ever do stream commissions.

Here's what I won't do:

Nudity/heavy gore - I won’t draw your porn, but I can do softcore interactions, tasteful doll nudity/convenient limb placement, mild violence and injury, though. Exceptions can be made for non-explicit kink. If you’re not sure, just ask!

Intricate inanimate objects/machines/robots - Unless you have very good references for me, I can’t promise much in terms of mechanical complexity.

Unrealistic deadlines - Typically I can get a small project done in a month, larger ones in two months, but my schedule depends heavily on other projects and school/work. I’ll let you know once you make the request what the predicted finish date will be, and if anything pressing comes up that might delay that deadline.

If I feel uncomfortable about drawing any requests made, or if I feel the need to terminate a commission for any reason, or at any stage of the commission process, it’s my right to refuse to continue with the commission as requested. I will refund any payments made for the terminated commission, unless the commissioner specifically asks me to keep those payments.


How you'll pay me:

I take Paypal; contact details are given out with payment. I'll send you an invoice once we negotiate the commission details and you can make partial payments whenever it's most convenient for you. HOWEVER, I require that at least half payment is made on the total commission before I'll send you the finished product. I'll contact you when the commission is halfway completed (either the sketch or lineart stage) with updates. If I fall behind negotiated dates or you're not satisfied with the commission for any reason before half payment is made, you're free to retract your request at no cost.
