If you haven't had the pleasure of being acquainted with Maraschino yet, here's some important facts!:

*Maraschino is NOT my main fursona...she is a secondary character I created to have fun with other people's characters. My main fursona is Luthien Nightwolf, who can be found in my main gallery by clicking on my picture up there. Please do not note me or post shouts on my page asking me to RP with you - if you'd like to have some fun with Maraschino, the best way to go about it is commissioning me on my main account.

*Age: Unknown (her Faerie lineage gives her immortality, but in appearance and mannerisms, she is somewhere late 20's to early 30's)
*Birthdate: Unknown (but I celebrate it on August 15, the date I created her as a character)

*She can take one of three forms - a tiny glowing orb of pink light, a small version of herself standing about 6" tall, or her full size of 6'7". (Yes, she's tall - I always add an extra foot to my anthro characters because they are always digitigrade, and this accounts for a few extra inches on the height scale. If she were flat-footed like humans, she would be 5'7".) Which form she chooses just depends on the situation and how sneaky she wants to be.

*Her proper coloring is light pink on the undersides, medium pink (like cake frosting) and deep red. Her ref sheet can be found here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/19481200/

*Being of the Faerie realm, which exists outside of the time and space we are familiar with, she can appear anywhere, anytime with anyone she chooses. She doesn't really have a permanent residence, instead staying briefly with lovers or for longer periods in brothels, inns, mansions or anywhere else someone will entertain her for a few days. When she craves some new scenery, she simply travels to another realm to play.

*She is Bisexual, so she'll play equally well with boys or girls. Tends to lean more towards males.

*She can be dominant or submissive, depending on her mood and her partner's preferences.

*Happily accepts offerings of cherries, flowers (especially roses or cherry blossoms), or lingerie, but can be angered if these are only given with the expectation of getting something in return.

*Most often goes nude when alone but also loves black and red, black and pink, or black and purple lingerie. Corsets and satin robes are her favorite. (See Scraps for ideas on costume, as there are numerous pics from SecondLife featuring her wardrobe choices.)

*She uses the energy pulled from her mortal lovers during orgasm to sustain her ability to stay in our world. This is why she is often found seducing mortals she encounters in her adventures. Other magical beings like herself make things more interesting though, and sometimes more complicated as well.

*Her wings are flexible and feel a bit like soft skin or leather (not the fragile gossamer you would expect of insect wings), so they resist wear and tear much better than one would think. They retain their shape, but can be gently bent or folded and will not be damaged if she lays on them.

*Has cherry scented breath which she often uses to hypnotize a potential lover. If one is close enough to be drawn into a kiss, they are pretty much already doomed. ;)

*Like all Fae, Maraschino has an aversion to iron, and avoids wearing anything made with that particular kind of metal because it weakens her and can render her powers useless until removed. Before anyone gets any ideas, she'll sense you have it WAY before you put it anywhere near her, and you don't want the reaction that will get you.

*Maraschino can pass through the veil between her world and ours, as well as any other realms...thus, she can visit many other planes of existence. This is what allows her to interact with so many different characters. :) She is still subject to our linear time as long as she is in our world however, and has been "here" for many centuries.

*She has been known to frequent various burlesque clubs in our world as a guest dancer. When an audience member she likes seems particularly interested in her, she finds him or her after the show for a more intimate encounter. Those who win her favor may see her more than once. When staying in any sort of House of Ill Repute, she finds her work is much easier, as her partners seek her out instead.

*Maraschino can be seductive and sweet when she desires something, luring a potential lover into her clutches with a silky smooth voice and a silver tongue. She can place flashes of images into the mind, making someone see what could happen should they accept her offer, which often helps seal the deal, and sometimes appears in dreams. All of these are of course standard tricks used by fae to coerce mortals into acting in their favor.

*When she is not attempting to lure an unsuspecting mortal into bed, Maraschino is aloof and observant. She may seem cold to some, because she does not make friends with just anybody, and rarely speaks or appears to those she does not wish to interact with. She, like most nature spirits, is generally untrusting of humans and mortals, seeing them only as temporary playmates or worse, looking down on them with an air of disdain for their disregard for Nature. She can be downright spiteful when angered, and saves her worst tricks for those who have crossed her. For the rest, those in the middle, she will resort to light mischief to amuse herself - tugging on hair, knocking things over, hiding belongings, etc. The best way to stop this behavior is to leave offerings of things she likes. ;)

*Like most faeries, Maraschino has the ability to pull Glamours on her partners, altering her appearance to trick them into believing she is someone else or just parts of her appearance to suit their fancy better. The only part of her that does not change in these instances is her eye color and her scent, and an experienced lover will be able to recognize her, even through the facade.

*Maraschino is an elemental Faerie specializing in fire. She can manipulate the element of fire or heat to her advantage, or even her defense if necessary. Such abilities can make for a magnificent light show to accompany her on stage.
