From time immemorial, dark wolves fought with whites for a sweet piece of forest territory, near the village of pastoralists. But whites were always on the sidelines, at a distance, not engaging in wolf battles because they were inferior in number and physical strength. The dark ones, sensing their superiority, used their position to the fullest, including for mercenary, embittered and cruel purposes. They attacked, killed, wounded, and dragged the wolf pups away - all because this has been the custom for a long time, and traditions must be maintained.



This was until one incident. Once the dark wolf was caught by people and left at home in order to make it clear to the rest - they will not leave the killing of cattle so easily. However, the dark flock did not react to this, and soon completely forgot about the existence of their comrade.



Knowing the relationship between the white and the dark pack, knowing the attitude of people towards wolves - one white took the initiative to save himself and went to people on his own to help his enemy. He crept around the grounds and crawled into the shed. There he saw a dark wolf, in bruises, wounds, blood flowed from him, curling and tangling in lumps in the fur, and then drying out. The wool was smeared with blood and white paint.



When their eyes met, the white one did not think that the dark wolf could ask for help with a glance, and the dark one did not think that someone would come to help him. The dark one gathered all his strength, and the white one helped him out of the barn. Having passed the people and stopped at the border between the territory of the white and the dark, the wolves parted.



The return of the dark wolf to the pack did not go unnoticed, and press  of the leader, the wolf had to tell who helped him. On the same night, white territory was attacked, killing everyone, sparing no one. Only a few survived, they managed to escape into the depths of the forest - but an open forest is no less dangerous than staying in place.



Is the rescued dark wolf still alive? Unknown. In the midst of a bloody massacre with whites, he could become a victim and be killed. Then was it worth saving him? Is it worth helping at all? And the white lifeguard? And he was killed. He shouldn't have gone then, shouldn't have felt pity and helped - now you can see how everything turned out.
