Dark Mask, 1 year old idea! (G)

It has been a whole year since I asked for this image!
This image was based on my then growing interest in TF content. For those curious, the character is an OC of mine, a Bulkmon named Rush, who is given a cursed mask based on the Gouki Dark Mask card. The card is an equip spell that only applies to Gouki monsters. Gouki has wrestling themes in design, something I ask for in the pieces so they’re consistent throughout.
A big thank you for RoxannaRachnid for helping bring your creativity to this and helping me with seeing these characters get warped by the mask. You're art is always amazing and I've been happy with everything you've done for me!
The idea has grown over the year to be something more. Then it has more to do with my behavior of wanting to make something that’s enjoyable for everyone… It’s a bad habit I am trying to work on. I wanted to write something for the pieces, make a grander world and all. My friends told me I didn’t need to do it, just enjoy the pieces I get, but that doesn’t mean I want to do something with it. So I’ve written ‘invitational’ blurbs for them, stating how X character got their mask. I still plan on doing something with the setting, but I may have the pieces talk more than anything. I still want to share what I’ve come up with though!
So with the blurbs each one gets, it’s referring to a show. I have no ideas for the wrestling show's name, but they’re being broadcasted on a channel called Dark Mask Network. (I’m not attached to it, I’ve been workshopping it for a while.) This Network broadcasts all types of shows, all having their cast wearing unique masks, showing that the masks aren’t just to fill a wrestling roster, but fill a broadcast with shows. Some characters have some unique show ideas, still finding stuff fitting. This whole network is all controlled by a figure called the Producer, a mysterious figure who is supposed to be the one ‘talking’ in those blurbs, like a narrator. Still have something in the works for them!
I’m so happy with how it’s all come out and I plan on adding more to the whole world/setting, it makes me happy to have something I can kinda call my own!
I may attempting more in the future with it, but I’ll take it slow.
