Guess what. Thylacines top our listing as most popular marsupial with over 40 accounts and thousands of submissions on FA. Move over kangaroos... Not so rare are they? Well at least on FurAffinity.

Of course there are many more kangaroo furries than any other marsupial species as they are the most well known, we just haven't located them. So we need your help in locating them. Feel free to assist by expanding the user list directory! Just reply with a valid username you don't see on the marsupial roster, and it will be added, for any species as long as it is a marsupial.

Also, we have seen a disturbingly ignorant trend on FA for well intentioned artists to misfile non-marsupial mammals as marsupials, making browsing the marsupial section a virtual nightmare, and leading us to question their educational level. Most frequent offenders are submissions tagging lemurs (primates/monkeys from Madagascar), meerkats (a type of mongoose), kangaroo rats(rodents like mice) and most annoyingly Sonic the Hedgehog (wtf)... as marsupials makes us very very sad indeed.

This is not a one time slipup, but happens over and over and over again without fail. O_O; Something does not compute here, so marsupial fans, be sure to politely and kindly let the misfiling users you notice know their error and maybe the problem will go away.
