Hi,

I figured I’d give a more newsletter style update on things because I’ve been super inconsistent about posting and being online and I really wanted to share some of the stuff I’m excited about!

over the past couple years I’ve taken on various forms of work. Conventions have moved to being more of a staple but I also work a different kind of job for part of the year. I’m lucky that the job is very supportive of my travel and work needs and recognizes that this is only a facet of my overall art career but It still takes some dedication and focus and can slow things down in other areas when I’m active in this role. I’m very passionate about everything I do so it can be hard to find a balance and I really struggled with it last year but this year I’ve been really trying to work toward being more well rounded and working with more sustainable habits.

I don’t have any conventions until May and my convention list for this year is pretty sparse right now so there's been an opportunity to really take time and refocus and prepare and plan and really consider my own goals and move toward them!

Going back to Traditional Medium

Over the past few months I have been returning to traditional Media! I have been working with watercolor, acrylics and mixed media. Specifically, I’ve been making Artist trading cards in my downtime! It’s very addictive and I’ve rediscovered my love for watercolor!

I have also started to explore other processes and mediums. Artdolls, Cosplay, and fursuitmaking have been of interest to me for some time and I am making more time to explore them more fully again!

She is almost complete after a year or two of slowly building in bouts of free-time and just needs the feetpaws! I have a plan for them but for now I’ve had so much fun making her and I really love styling outfits for her! If you haven’t seen her around already I’m sure you will!

I also handmade her Tunic and hat for this Toon Link Cosplay for her! After owning a sewing machine for more than a decade I am finally getting good use out of it! If anyone is interested in the making of the head I have the process fully documented!

On the subject of Art-dolls, I had one surprise doll for Midwest furfest 2025 and a couple small ones for Fursquared. I am currently working on more for Anthrocon this year! I’ll be updating on progress as it unfolds.

Commissions and Custom Art

One of my major goals is to try and do more commissions more consistently and I’ve been exploring some other avenues for commission options including Convention Pick-up options, On-site commissions, and bringing back monthly online commission openings for things like the portraits and larger illustrations as well as traditional works.

I am looking to launch openings and AC pick-up orders in early April, giving me room to really start on a fresh note! Please look forward to those announcements!

I have some ideas I’m working on examples and prototypes for but I’d love to know what others would like to see in terms of commissions!

I am 2 orders away from 50 orders on Etsy! I would love to break 100 sales by the end of this year. Enamel Pins are on Sale currently for 10% off! I also have a variety of stickers listed and will be trying to slowly add listings for my metal bookmarks. Any sales are much appreciated at this time while I finish making way for that April commission opening!

The Moon Dragon is under way!

Every year so far I have worked on and completed a celestial dragon with a pin, lore, and illustration. Starbinder in 2024 and Soliel the Forge-Heart in 2025. The final planned pin is currently underway! Here is a sneak peak at the LAST and final of the series, the moon dragon!

I’m very excited to see this one come together like the other two before it and I’m looking forward to having the complete set in time for Anthrocon!
