Welcome to the official Fur Affinity profile of Matthew I, King of Hearts. To get one thing out of the way, despite that the King does know how to let loose and have fun, the first time you address him it's "Your Imperial and Royal Majesty". After that it's either "Your Majesty" or "Sir".
The King is a figure head of the Furry Fandom. He became King on 9 August 2011. He would like to emphasize that he, in no way, wishes to "rule" over the Fandom, per se. He does not wish to steal any thrones from any other furry kings that may exist. If anything, he would like to be your representative and friend. The King is gay and does not yet have a potential Grand Prince.
The King sees himself as a constitutional monarch. His Imperial and Royal Majesty does not "rule" the Fandom, but fulfills important ceremonial and formal roles with respect to authority. As he is also the Head of the House of Hearts, he also has the title of "King of Hearts".
From America to Argentina, Canada to the Czech Republic, the Fandom is a remarkable international community, spanning every geographical region, religion and culture. It exists to foster international co-operation and trade links between people all over the world.
