So I have some updates to my life to share. I'm going to school. actually that's pretty much the only new thing. Im taking a Double Major: Multi Media and Film Production. I'm mainly taking Multi Media to get skilled enough in Adobe Programs as well as web design to get a job in that field to make money to go to Film Production school. I've completed one semester of school already but with the covid19 quorentine going on, second semester got thrown out the window so we have to begin again. I'm taking school with my Mate, Calcifur whose been taking the same exact classes I'm taking and is majoring in the same fields. really helps to have a best buddy helping along. though it can trash everything if we get too stressed and give up early. got to stay determined.

As for my other stuff: my fursuit of McNab has been placed on extended hold as of late. I just don't have the skills to make him the way i want him to be. That doesn't mean I haven't been making suits. on the contrary. Carrions getting a remake. Finaly put the original to rest after he daybued in a School film. I never found out how my teacher reacted to that. I was in the shot with him in human form. more on that later. Since i work at a place that allows Halloween dress up for the first time ever, Ive been taking full advantage of this. every year a new costume walks in. Ive been learning so much, from sewing, to electrical work and foam work. Ive been casting more and more and tried my hand at punching feathers which a trip in of its self. this year im looking in on a organic Quad suit animal. no definitive creature as it will be themed after Cyberpunk. It will also be my first quad suit. so that's exciting. Ive already broke ground on it. developing the Electrical Harness of the suit and the articulating portions have been fun to make thus far. seriouslyt one of my more complicated works ever and its proving challenging as i am having trouble wrapping my head around all the moving parts and how they interact with eachother. If we go to BLFC this year, it may daybue at con. who knows.

Like i said above, Carrion made it into a short film for class. it was a class assignment using multiple lenses and angles to make a story called, "you got the stuff." so I shot like a courier moving goods for some shady guy (Carrion) only to be killed in the end by Carrion as his payment for a good job. It went well. My mate voiced Carrion and i played my self and Carrion. not too hard since I would play to nothing on many shots and Carrion vise versa. on the rare occasions we made shots with me in shot and Carrions head in shot moving just to the left or right of the camera giving him life and motion to pull an over the shoulder feel. what im most proud of though, was the shot where both me and Carrion occupied the same space at the same time in full view of the camera acting to each other. this was done with a 8mm Fish eye lense that captured the entire room and two seperate shots along with some serious lighting rigs. we filmed the left side first showing me acting to nothing and them another shot of Carrion acting to nothing in the opposite direction. then in post we spliced the two shots together and linked the sound. At first glaces it isnt totaly noticeable the two separate shots but in a still it totally stands out. I know i definitely want to expand on this film in the future. I have to take the class again since it got cancelled half way so i might make a new version of this now that i have a basic idea of who Carrion is and what kind of slease he is.

On a Side note my friends, mate and my self are in the mids of making a Lets play youtube channel. got to fix my computer first but we decided to green light the project since we're sure we'll be making new films in the future and would like a channel to post on but more importantly we wanted some place to post our wacky game play and chats between eachother so a channel was the way to go. Its still being put together and we are editing our first show as i type this. Ill post links to that in the future for sure. "Cal and Nabby."
In addition Im putting serious work into my personal Channel called "The NonCombatant." Its a channel that showcases my love of Photography and video making. more to the point its for my love of taking photos in active Airsoft Games. Channels already up but Im still working on the first videos. Since im taking a Multi media Major im putting my skills to work. theres a website in the works and merch. Still working on the first edit. So far im super excited from what i got so far.My favorate so far on it is the over the shoulder shots ive gotten. I have a camera mounted to the front of my helmet and then another sticking out to the right and back a few inches giving a clear look at what i point my camera at and what im doing. the few shots ive gone through i can find the over the shoulder look only to cut to the video from a DSLR or picture of what ever im snapping of. It looks cool in my opinion. So far its only from my point of veiw but in the future i plan on handing out rigs that clip on players rifles and helmets to grab other peoples points of view. i also have a hit count meter cuz even though im not actively playing doesnt mean i dont get lit up the wazue. in one game im sitting at 600 hits including another youtuber who opened up on me at point blank with a 6 round burst. I found it on his channel.
