Something just occurred to me. I thought id jot it down here real quick before i forget.

Years ago, in a little digital town called https://www.foxbox.cc or something like, i dove into the furry communication pool for the first time, and was welcomed by people from around the world. There was one fur in particular who i still think about from time to time. His username was like... lonewolf... something or other. I remember a specific conversation in which he told me that he has been living on his own for about a year or so (at the time). I remember feeling... sad... to say the least, because at that time i was having my own emotional and family problems.

I can count the number of conversations we've had on one hand, and yet i considered this person a good friend because, as a young and confused new member to the community, i respected him, and perhaps even looked up not to him, but his perseverance. i was affected, to say the least.

I talk about this now, because it has, for some reason, just occurred to me that i am now in the same boat as him. I have not lived with my family for three years and have bounced between friends' houses from New York to all over north-eastern PA.

If he is still out there, or perhaps for some reason or by some fate-driven chance he happens to read this, I just want him to know...

I want you to know that i still remember you, and that i understand.
