Chiptune musician/guitarist | Registered: April 14, 2008 05:15:02 PM
🦊 Squeezy the Red Fox here! 🦊 Welcome to my page! So I'm Squeezy, a red fox from the Midwest. Oh how I wish I could actually draw...so I play and write music instead. I am a chiptune artist and digital musician, but also dabble my paws in 20 years of guitar playing and sub-par piano. I love old NES music, so much of what I write is catered toward that sound. I also post commissions I get from various artists! From a technical standpoint, I mostly use:
DAW: Sonar Platinum
Chiptunes (All hail the piano roll!): Tweakbench, Magical 8-bit, Super Audio Cart
Orchestral, Digital: Kontakt 5, Native Instruments
As just a hobbyist, I don't do music commissions. Just a place for my personal ideas. Thank you all for any favorites and watches! They are all greatly appreciated.
As a long time lurker of the furry fandom (really, circa 2002, but it goes back a bit farther), I mostly liked to browse and enjoy the amazing art from the great artists out there. Now, over the last few years, I've let my interest out a bit more. You could say I was a bit of a closet furry for quite a while. I came out of the furry closet back in 2015 with a trip to Midwest Furfest. Now, it is all about defining the character and personality that is Squeezy the Red Fox, which will be my OC representing me and my creative endeavors. So this profile will be full of original music and great artwork I have commissioned. There are so many talented people (um...animals) out there in the furry community. Let's all support each other!
My Characters:
Aside from writing and playing music, Squeezy the Red Fox:
- is a gamer
- is a 1st degree black belt (woot)
- is a nerd
- is NOT an artist
- is a sucker for 90s nostalgia
- is a hopeless romantic. For his childhood friend, Roxy, who he has trouble admitting he has feelings for.
Roxy the Red Fox:
- is a total tsundere girl and tomboy. Rough on the outside, but a total softy on the inside.
- is a sucker for a good romantic comedy.
- has a big soft spot for the cute and the fluffy. Not necessarily in that order.
- is not a fan of being cute, but is a tease because she totally can be...and is good at it.
- hates to admit she's a good singer. Can't help herself when karaoke is afoot.
- is a bit sassy and won't take guff from anybody.
My stuff is also hosted on Soundcloud, but I post updates and WIPs on Twitter so give me a follow to keep up on what's coming!🎵🦊 Twitter 🦊🎵🎵🦊 Soundcloud 🦊🎵 🎵🦊 Bluesky 🦊🎵Proudly supporting great music of

MFF 2024!
Well, another year has come and gone. It seems like it goes by quick but a lot always seems to happen when I stop and think about it.
First things first, MFF 2024 is always my favorite week of the year. I have met a lot of great people over the 9 years I have been attending. Each year is unique in it's own way. This time around was no exception. I have been going since 2015 and I have always landed a room in the main Hyatt hotel in some capacity. I was perfect on my lottery until this year. Unfortunately, that streak came to an end. But no matter! I had a back up in the Embassy Suites which actually turned out to work better. Larger room for 5 people and closer to the convention center. Pricier, but worth the cost. I always love seeing and hanging with my buddies.
blyzzarde
badgerben and
mih4nn to name a small few. The artist alley was in a much better spot and I had no problem getting the Dealer's Den. Things just seemed to be more efficient. I did bring out the guitar for this year. Didn't use it a lot, but if you saw a blue wolf walking around on Saturday with it, that was me. Every year I tend to prioritize different aspects of the con. I rarely go to panels anymore. It is more focused around the camaraderie, the roommate hang outs, Alley and Den shopping, art jams, and suiting. There's a lot to do, so it is hard to be everywhere. But I loved it. I hate leaving, but I am looking forward to next year!
Life in general has been up and down. Work gets busy sometimes and it kills motivation to do other things. I have been trying to stay consistent in the gym this last year, which has faltered from time to time, but I am happy I am not completely neglecting it. This year was big on concerts. I went out of town for two of them and did some exploring of Minneapolis and Denver. Even got a tattoo of my favorite blue vixen, Krystal! I love it, but god damn did it hurt. My biggest win of the year is my little dog. He's been through a few cancer treatments going back to 2023. For 13.5 years old, he is still doing great. He is a tough little corgi. He's definitely beaten the odds. His health is the best Christmas gift I could have asked for. I cherish every moment I have with him.
Of course as a musician, I try to work on new things, but motivation comes and goes. I have ideas and projects I want to keep doing. Maybe someday I'll open for some short chiptune commissions. Just need to gain some confidence.
For anyone interested, I made a Tiktok and Instagram for my dog, Charlie. He's a little corgi mix and deserves all the loves in his senior years. He's 13.5 years old. He's been through a lot of shit.
