Looking back at all my old art, and then my new art... I just think, what the fuck happened to it? All the old stuff looked so much better, even after I've been trying to improve and learn to color in the lines, making good lineart in general, and learning different techniques.. it all just sucks. It looks so soulless. I hate it.

So I think maybe for awhile I'm going to switch back to paint tool sai... I guess? Not that I really post much good art anyway, lbr. Maybe I need to try my painting style again to see what went wrong and why it sucks as much as it does. Can anyone tell me what actually looked better about my old art? Because by all means it doesn't really make sense to me. Maybe it's because I've been separated from my boyfriend (he does give me lots of ideas for art), maybe it's being away from school, maybe it's because I'm on and off medicine, or maybe I'm just straight up delusional and my new art actually does look better. I DON'T EVEN KNOW *sobs*
