Notification hoarding (G)

Why do people reply to the journal (https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/11330044) about how hoarding notifications creates an immense load on FA's servers with talk about how prideful they are that they have literally one million notifications. FA users need to realize this site is run on donations and barebones ad revenue. this is not google, this is not twitter, this isnt whatever big giant unlimited money site you have in mind. i think these people need to be more respectful and clear notifications when admins tell them its negatively impacting the site for everyone.
