Story Illustration Ideas

Oh yeah, journals exist. Let me try one out, it's been a while.
Midwest Furfest is coming up, and by golly do I plan on doing my duty as a fury and getting at least a commission or two. Why not make one a story illustration?
Tell me, folks, what sounds good? It could be a particular scene from one of my stories, or it could just be a portrait one of the characters, someone who's already gotten art or a brand new face. I'm thinking of a single image, but a really nice comic idea might make it in. I'd love to hear suggestions for who, what, or where gets drawn!
