Hi. I'm a relatively- simple person. Nothing too special, just a guy who likes art.
I suppose I should tell you a little about myself. I'm not too familiar with things like this, but- it's worth a try, I guess.
April 4th birthday, 26 years old
About myself: I'm 6 foot 1 or 2. I have scruffy black hair, blueish-greenish eyes, and weigh 180 to 190 pounds. My fashion style is (usually) jeans, t-shirts, Cabela's cap, black glasses, sometimes flannel shirts over my Ts, and black and white tennis shoes. I work in a driveshaft factory. I have probable Asperger syndrome (which I'm still trying to get used to, likely having).
Faith: Christianity. I don't have a religion, I have a faith. There's a difference. Religion is a man-made construct created to have people fit into specific mindsets that align with the criteria and ideals of man. Christian faith, on the other hand, is what people like Jesus strive to advocate. Love, compassion, and the upholding of his word without self-righteousness. Sorry. I don't mean to ramble about it. But, on to more- pleasant topics.
I'm a furry, and love furry art. Furries are more common than you think. The definition of one is someone who likes and has an appreciation for anthropomorphic animals. Do you have any idea how many shows and movies have those? So yeah. If that's the definition, then I'm proudly guilty.
Likes: I have a deep love and appreciation for machines/vehicles. My first word was actually car. Well, technically car-car, but eh. My likes and passions include, but are not limited to the following: Cars, trains, planes, helicopters, blimps, boats, ships, trucks, construction vehicles, spacecraft, tractors, tanks, submarines, etc. My biggest ones are cars and trains, though. My other passion is animals. That may be why so many of my favorite films are about them. 101 Dalmatians, Over the Hedge, Bolt, Oliver & Company, Lady and the Tramp, etc, are just a few examples. I just find it so fascinating learning all the different traits different species have.
I am a big fan of animation and literature. Fan-made media, shows, and movies are all examples. So companies such as Dreamworks, Pixar, Disney (to an extent), etc, are up there. But it's projects from smaller, more obscure companies and creators that I really like. My favorite genres are fantasy, adventure, and science fiction. Star Wars is at the top for me. (Not the crap Disney has put out. The only words I care for are the original 6 films (obviously), Rogue One, The Clone Wars/The Bad Batch, possibly The Mandalorian, and ESPECIALLY Andor.) I actually have cosplay outfits of Andor and Tech.
Other passions include: video games (modern and classic, I'm actually planning to open up my own classic arcade as one of my multiple planned business ventures), history, science, mathematics, cinema, cartoons, art (obviously), sketching, music (both playing and listening to). Toys; such as legos, lincoln logs, wooden blocks, wooden trains, hot wheels (I'm a collector of both), model trains (I'm in the process of designing my own layout, I lean towards HO and N scale), mechanics, older obsolete technology, chess, swimming, nature (it's one of my biggest passions), boy scouts, cooking, reading, and writing.
(I'm in the process of writing several of my own stories, some of which I post on my fanfiction. I know that when some people hear about fanfiction, they are sometimes repulsed or find it cringy. To be fair, there is some truth to it, but not all of it is bad. Most of it is, but there is a small percentage, maybe 5 to 10% that is actually good. Some of it is very good. You just need to look hard enough. I want to strive to be part of the small minority of authors who put time and effort into creating stories that have depth, character development, and can be enjoyed by others.)
Lastly, some of my favorite shows include: Gravity Falls, Transformers Prime, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Wander over Yonder, Thomas & Friends (only seasons 1-7, and the Brenner era), and Bluey, to name a few.
Dislikes: Drama. I've had too much of that in my life. I still do sometimes, unfortunately. Profanity (is it too much to watch your language?), bullies, people who think they're better than others for their class position, race, or any other reason, people with bi-polar disorder, bigots, racists, politicians who lean too far left or right, planned obsolescence, zoning laws and land development (I'm not against progress, but I don't believe you need to destroy acres upon acres of land to do it, the US really needs to rethink how it uses land) and SUVS/huge pickup trucks. They are a blight on the safety of pedestrians and other people who share the road.
Goals and aspirations: I believe everyone needs to have goals of some kind. Something to strive and work for.
I want to establish and own multiple of my own business enterprises. Real estate in both housing and self-storage, my own classic arcade (as stated above), my own small car company (not huge, just a small one-factory operation to start out with, one that produces maybe a couple hundred cars a year at first), I want to design and build my own house out in the country away from everyone else. I'd also like to own a farm (not a huge industrial-sized one, just one that can produce food for myself and the local community), a large barn for the farm, and a large garage that can house maybe a 6 to 12 car collection. One of my biggest goals is to get a degree in Industrial/Product Design, which is my DREAM job. Combining my love for art, sketching, mechanics, and items I love all into one. I know a lot of these goals are really out there, but it doesn't hurt to have big dreams.
