so you’ve read the title. i’ve gotten a few questions about things like requests and commissions, and i have a lot of thoughts about it. i’ve never done any writing before that depends on another person, so i am a little anxious about stuff like this. but i think it sounds like fun, so i’d like to give this stuff a shot!

this journal is just a little overview of how i’ve been thinking about this stuff. comments are open, and i would like to hear from y’all on what you think.


requests.
if you have a request for me, send me a note with details! i can’t guarantee i’ll do every request i get, but if it’s doable for me then i’ll do my best! once again, i’ve never done requests before (i’ve never had an audience before lol), so you’ll have to be a little patient with me as i figure things out.

i of course have boundaries on what i will and won’t write, but i’ll save that list for if i open commissions. suffice to say that if your request is trans in any way, you can basically guarantee i’ll hear you out lmao. (and if your request involves minors (or “cubs”) i will NOT.)


collaborations.
if you’d like to collaborate with me, absolutely send me a note with details! again, i can’t promise i’ll do everything, but if something really tickles my fancy then i’ll do my best! i think collaborations sound like fun.


commissions.
this is the big one. like i’ve said, i’ve never done stuff like this before so all of it worries me, but commissions worry me the most. i am terrified of taking somebody else’s money only to disappoint them. frankly, commissions freak me the fuck out.

however, i’m an unemployed shut-in with extreme anxiety who will probably be broke with a few more Steam sales. having some way to make money sounds nice. i am DEFINITELY considering opening up commissions. (i’m also considering starting a Ko-fi or something if there’d be any interest in that, leave a comment if you think that’d be worth it.)

however however, i don’t want to open commissions if there’s no interest in it. i know that i don’t have a very large audience, so i’m a little worried about embarrassing myself by opening commissions and having nobody be interested.

so i’m partially using this as a way to gauge interest. if you’d want to see me open commissions someday, leave a comment here, or a shout, or send me a note. your engagement really matters to me, and it especially matters to me here. i’m very, very flattered by all the people who have already expressed their interest and by all the kind comments and messages i’ve gotten. i can’t say it enough, y’all are the best. i would not have even finished Rylee Becomes a Succubus without your support.
