The hollow cave, filled with sharp edges, appeared dark, and gloomy, but the inside held a species unlike any other. The Janaries. A diverse species, one that comes in beautiful shapes, colors, and sizes. The gleaming Janaries are often described like this: Tall and sleek, humanoid almost, with sharp feet, that of a dog or cat. They're tall ears come to a slight curve, with a small tuft on the end of each ear. Along with they're curbed ears, they have distinct blackface patterns, that seem to be splotched with ink, along with scruffy cheek fur that extends as far as their shoulders. Going down their slender shapes, they have a thick, scaly neck, one of a snakes that seems like it would be protected by an outer shell. Their most defining feature is decided via variant. The many types of Janaries, make up for one for each season that happens throughout the year. A poncho made up of different materials based on the season they were born, A thick layer of snow for the Janaries born in Winter. Petals from a flower, one that could come from every color of the rainbow for those born in Spring. Autumn leaves, red, orange, or yellow for the ones born in the Fall. And finally, shiny, glittering pieces of glass, or diamonds (A staple resource for the Janaries). These specific variants have many different defining features, but for now, the story continues. Outsteps, the tall, sleek, dazzling Janarie, Auburn. This Janarie, one of the Fall variant, in its show of warm autumn colors, slithers out of his damp spring cave, the one he had previously slept in for an entire season. Auburn stretched, putting his arm behind his back and stretching as far into the sky as he could, almost being able to touch a nearby pine tree branch. In fact, it seemed nothing but pine trees surrounded Auburn and his cave for miles, as he glared around the tall expanse of trees, his dazzling hazel eyes roamed the landscape. He could see nothing but grass and fallen pine needles, the most eye-catching thing being a fallen pine in the distance. As Auburn let his arms fall to his side, his damp poncho-like feathers slapped his waist. He shivered at the feeling, it seemed like the winter snow had melted and dampened his coat. He shook the feeling away and jus continued to stare into a blue azure sky, one that seemed endless.
