Hey guys, given you all a quick status in my recovery

Got my head checked out, just a minor concussion and some road rash scrapes on my head. Need to manage my screentime a bit but other than that, im just thankful those were the only head injuries despite not having a helmet on at the time.

My arm and wrist got checked out, little bone on near my wrist is broken. I can technically not need surgery. But recovery would take 6 months and i risk getting arthritis in that area years down the line. So i went with the surgery option. A three-hour procedure that i can go home from on the same day.

I got my bike recovered. Back tire is bent up, messed up as it sounds, but it looks like the bike took most of the impact. I keep hearing people mention about "calling for an attorney" but in all honesty im partially responsible on my end. I did a quick stop-n-go at a stop sign. Well lessoned learned, regardless of what vehicle you're driving/riding, be mindful of your surroundings. Its easy for anyone to get lost in your own thoughts that you might forget your not the only on the road. In regards to the driver, im not pressing charges or anything like that. She came out of her car after the hit and put pressure on my head. She's the one who called the ambulance. She felt horrible for what happened so im not going to judge her for that.

Im just thankful for being able to walk away from all that.
