Norwegian, above the age of 18 and been drawing since Christmas 2018.
Started drawing as a means of dealing with panic attacks, still works pretty well for that.
Autistic as fuck, brain's supercharged on whatever I put my dumbass to do.
Going to hell in every religion.

I am permanently closed for commissions. I just can't.
Critique me all you want, but it might not be taken seriously. I'm doing this ONLY for myself.

Pain

If something hurts, pull away. But do ask yourself; Why did it hurt? What did you lose? Did you gain anything? Does the pain serve a purpose?

Because although pain is seen as a negative thing in our lives, it is in fact a gift. A kindness bestowed upon us by the world to help us navigate through the treacherous waters we wade through.



Pain is a message.

Don't mess with me. Stay away from my children. I'm over you, know your place. You shouldn't be here.

But some pains are a benchmark. The more you expose yourself, the more it hardens your skin, it hardens your heart.



Pain is a friend.

It's there to show us the way. Our path might be dark, and the things we might cut ourselves on while trying to feel our way may make us bleed, but the pain is there to remind us to be careful.

Without that friend, we become reckless. We become oblivious to what the world really is, how nasty it CAN be.



Pain is necessary.

The comforting cradle of safety is desired by us all. It does go against our instincts to actively seek pain, but that's how strong individuals rise from the ashes.

An old saying goes, you won't improve if you do not play against someone better than yourself. You won't get stronger if you do not acknowledge your weakness. Let the world help you.



Pain is strength.

Without pain, without taking it's vital advice to heart,

The softest prod is torture.

The gentlest breeze will send you flying.

The most minescule of misnomer or mis-speaking becomes the most brutal insult.

You delude yourself into believing that you're a victim.

Everyone becomes your enemy.



The world becomes your enemy. And you won't have the strength to fight it.

Not even the strongest has that kind of strength.



So embrace pain, my friend. Leap into the unknown and take a chance. Let the comfort zone be your least visited destination and truly know the beauty of the wondrous world we live in.

Something that's been on my mind lately. Because I realized, if you grow up your whole life seeking nothing but comfort, everything else will hurt all the more.
And I honestly some times don't understand how so many people handle tormenting themselves in such a way..
