Accidental artist who doesn't take himself too seriously. Pencil and paper for the most part, mainly in black and white for now, but things could change in the near future.
I am, however, first and foremost a writer; but that's a story for another day. After I finished my first novel five years ago, I endured a severe case of baby-blues, also known as 'what the hell did I use to do with all that free time ?' and decided to try another form of art, drawing. I started from less than scratch and here I am, five years later, stumbling along the path of enlightenment through artistic vision, including anthropomorphic animals, because they're cute. I have not received any kind of formal training in visual arts, and still consider myself a beginner on the learning curve.
You should also know that I do not individually thank people who add me to their watch list. I just consider that you choose to enjoy my drawings for your pleasure, not to stroke my ego. If you think this is a breach of etiquette, I'm deeply sorry. On the other hand, feel free to drop a word if you want to comment on what you see.

Dear readers,
The change in ownership and management of Furaffinity has prompted a critical reflection on the importance of innovation and accountability in community-managed services. As a consequence, from now on all my new art will be posted on https://www.weasyl.com/~shoelace and my Furaffinity account will no longer be updated.
I will of course not delete this gallery without making proper announcements in advance.
I would like to thank you all and individually for the support you have shown me over nearly ten years. Every interaction we shared, however small or short, was instrumental in what continues to be an enjoyable and enriching journey of self-improvement.
