my problem with lolita on FA
recently i've been turned on to the japanese trend called "lolicon" wich is named after nikolai nobokov's book Lolita about a man who has an attraction to his underage step-daughter lolita.the basis of lolicon is that it depicts women who are very young in sexual poses and revealing clothes and when drawn like most lolicon on the internet can be extremely sexual and graphic.shotacon is the male version of lolicon but i'll not get in to that now.but to focus on my main point, while i was doing a quick search of lolicon on FA i realized that almost every picture was the same.not all lolicon is young girls in victorian dresses.yes this is a big part of it but lolicon is so much more.i respect and acknowledge the fact that a human trend can be distorted easily in the furry comunnity but overgeneralization of such a delicate and relatively new art form cannot be allowed on such a good outlet such as FA.there are those who would crusade against lolicon and the like and respect that but i must defend all kinds of art and must stress that even though it may depict child pornography at times this is not illegal and the bulk of lolicon is realy just teenage japanese girls posing in bikinis and evening gowns looking sexy.
