I have been to a couple furry cons and now I'm hooked. I love the culture, warmth, and affection of the fandom community.
I really like how talented everyone is, how accepting everyone is, and how perfectly odd everyone is.
I work the cons I go to. I really mean it too, I'm one of the people who makes all the flashy, noisy and colorful techno stuff go. I've been the lighting professional at the two furry shows I've been to. Most likely I'll probably only make it to shows as part of the technical production staff. So I really don't get much time to see the con. So I wouldn't really have a chance to "suit up" during a show. But maybe one day...
Maybe I could get all wacky and put on a fur-sona of a snorlax type character and be all big, squeezable and snoozy. Go on the dance floor and nap. Walk around and sleep with everyone. Be all silly and whatnot.
