Hello, it is summer, the school semester is over and for those of you wondering about my journey into teaching thus far, I feel I had a much easier year this round than I did last year. I am now at a different school, I no longer teach just art, but I teach Graphic Design (primarily computer arts) so I am much more in my element! Don't get me wrong, teaching is still rough and I am still trying to find ways to balance my energy and time around work, but this year I spent significantly less time staying at school after the work day was over and getting out to do some social things. I'm sure you noticed this as evidenced by my near complete absence in terms of activity here XD

I don't know the last time I updated this journal, but I hope that helps give you an idea of what I've been up to. Now I'm starting my summer vacation, and that means I am opening my commissions because summer money is always nice for a teacher now that I have time to spend it XD So for more commission information, I will direct you here:

My first year as a teacher is over, hoorayyyyy!!! It took me a couple weeks to detox from a challenging year, but now that I've had some time to rest, I am ready for arting again! I will open up 5 slots for now, but I should be pooping things out pretty consistently since I now have time to do so, so if you are interested in a commission or someone you know is, please hit me up!! Also, please share the word, I really look forward to drawing other people's characters!! :)

In other news, I am also going to be spending a ton of time this summer beefing up my art and getting new stuff and old stuff ready to sell at my FIRST EVER ARTIST ALLEY in Casper, Wyoming, at the first annual Casper Comic Con :) Sooooooo, if you live in the area, come hunt me down! I will have details on location and everything as soon as I get it, but the con is June 29th and the 30th, a Saturday and Sunday :)
