Hey everyone, just back from Denfur, congratulations for great numbers and having a fur con back in Denver.
As for me, most of you know I was part of BLFC staff, my part was working with the hotel. Six years helping to grow the super great con was a pleasure seeing folks having a great time.
My furry faces, Sitka, Jake and Bernie are stepping back from the behind the scenes and leaving my part of BLFC in great hands of BLFC staff.
Many have asked why I took on the load of responsibility helping a con.......before the first BLFC I was in a hot tub at FC and asked where I lived and would I help, I said yes. Seeing your smiles the first year, con goers with the go-karts, pool party, mini-golf, bowling, 1/2 price food, and all the super sized areas like dealers den, main stage, second stage, gaming, and the huge effort by BLFC staff to make it one of the best experiences for con goers is why I was there.
Thank you for all the happy faces, smiles, thumbs up and seeing furs coming from around the world.
The three furry faces of mine will see you guys around at other cons plus BLFC as an attendee.
If any one reading this has not been to BLFC I'm not sure you understand the huge staff commitment putting this one on (less than 8 staff members put this on) and the help from 100's of volunteers and their hearts make this con what it is....... better said it's made up of con goers, and who know how to do a con, the goers.
Bless you guys it was fun and I'm retiring from the con and retiring in real life to go ski, ride motorcycles, and visit cons (FYI I'm 60)
