False awakenings
So I just woke up from a couple of weird false awakenings and I was wondering if anything like this has happened to y'all.
I woke up around 2 in the morning, watched some stuff on YouTube and then fell back asleep around 5–6am. I then proceeded to have a few dreams and, after, had at least two vivid and somewhat disturbing false awakenings. In both FAs, it involved me actually feeling like I was 'waking up', getting up, walking around, etc.
In the first one, I 'woke up', but I was more 'hazy-minded' than usual (obviously). I heard the TV going on in the living room. I went down to my dad's room at the end of the hallway and found my mom in there. We started talking a little, she walked up to me and started to cling to me, needing help with walking like she used to. We started walking back down the hallway together when suddenly it clicked, and I asked, "Mom, aren't you dead?" She didn't respond and started to cling tighter as we continued to walk. It wasn't making sense to me, until I think I asked myself if this was still part of a dream.
Then I 'woke up' once more. This time, things were even more hazy. It was like I was having a stroke or other serious brain condition. I couldn't see very well, at least not at all out of one eye. I tried to get up but I immediately 'fell' onto the ground, my right hand being the only separation between my head and the wooden floor in my room. What made me start to wonder about this FA is that I didn't feel the impact of the 'fall' itself. Anyway, I tried to get up, stumbled about a bit and saw my dad at the kitchen entrance. I yelled "Dad, help" and started to fall again, but he caught me. He said he was sorry for something that happened in an earlier dream (not in real life), we talked a bit as I laid partially on the floor against my horizontally-long wooden shelf in my room. He took out a pair of scissors and started cutting hair on my right side – which I know sounds strange but my dream-self figured he just thought it was too long or something, plus in real life I see him cutting Brindle's hair all the time when it gets too long. It was very strange and disturbing but at the same time it was a very sincere moment.
And then I woke up, for realziez. I hope so anyway. Got up, feeling more level-headed than I did in the dreams, told my dad and now you guys about them, and now enjoying a cup of coffee. Anyone else experience weird stuff like that?
