They're 42 years old as of the rewriting of this bio, living in central New Mexico with their spouse and son.

Let's get the rough stuff out of the way: transgender lives and black lives matter*, science is the real process of understanding the world through interacting with observable phenomena, religion is the real process of refusing to understand the world by escaping into the unobservable magic of a higher power no one can fathom, minors and animals cannot consent, adults can consent, consent is a necessary part of interacting with others (sexually and otherwise), finding a picture you didn't want to see on the internet is not the same thing as being raped, fictional depictions that make you feel weird or uncomfortable are not necessarily immoral, if you seek to censor art/writing/music because something in it squicks you out you are not on the right side.

Now that's out of the way, fursonas. I have two barely active 'sonas: my old puma standby and a mountain dryad. Pines and Lucina (lu-keen-ah, a reference to a goddess of birth and inspired by the Latin lūcus [a sacred grove] and lūx [light]). Pines is just a tired guy, quiet and kind, drinker of alcohols and reader of books. Lucina is a form-fluid, gender-variable, being of spirit. Serene, maternal, soft, and sensual. Yet, she is also a protector capable of terrible wrath. She may appear as an anthropomorphic animal in bipedal or quadrupedal form, or as a human being if it suits her mood (which it rarely does). Neither have a finished ref sheet, because I am terrible at being a furry.
