Welcome to Operation Overlord
Many of you may have noticed the proliferation of 'Nazi Furs' on FA.
While some of these furs are into the style, and avoid Nazi symbology, others do not, and wear the symbol of a facist and inhuman state freely and without care.
We do not like this.
However, those of us of Operation Overlord will not attack Nazi Furs.
We are here simply to show pride, and to wear the badge of the Allied Forces of the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
What is Operation Overlord?
Operation Overlord is the brainchild of myself (EthanBlack) and Direwolf505.
Between us, we decided that while there's a large Nazi-Fur movement on the site, we decided that there were not enough showing off the pride and imagery of The United Kngdom and USA from the World War II period.
Basically what this means, is that we intend to create a gallery of World War 2 'Allies' furry images centered around British and US wartime clothing, weapons and so forth.
We're also open to art containing Allied imagery from other countries such as Poland and France, though we are choosing to exclude the Soviet Union, on account of the Cold War.
We will favorite peoples submissions that fit this category, if they are original artwork, photographs of reanactments or weaponry from the era, or anything else that fits with the 'WW2 Allies Theme'
We'll even repost them here, if you'd like that.

We also intend to produce our own artwork including World War 2 style allied propaganda, furs in uniform, and much more.
Feel free to watch this account if these interest you, as we will begin posting images (and then continue to do) soon.
Why call it Operation Overlord?
Operation Overlord was the code name for the operation that launched the invasion of German-occupied western Europe during World War II by Allied forces.
We found this to be a fitting name, as the operation consisted mainly of UK and US forces and included Polish, French, Australian, Norwegian, Greek, Czechoslovakian and Belgian Forces, as well as units from the Netherlands.
However, we don't care where you're from, provided you support the Allied forces of World War 2 Watch us!
And remember: V is for Victory!
