Question For Readers: Upload Formats

Since FA recently updated to display PDFs properly and now displays the markdown TXT files in a similar window, I find myself at a bit of an impasse about what I should upload for stories. Both formats feel adequate when it comes to reading on the site, but I have no idea how many people download the files to save or read for later. So, dear readers:
What format do you prefer, Markdown TXT or Page-separated PDF?
