This site is dedicated to all the people that are interested or even own an Ornith
The Ornith are a calm yet fierce bird/reptilian like species led by the circle of Akroth, the highest god of the Ornith.
Akroth and his family came to their planet in search for a new home Eons ago. The Ornith are their late descendants.
Their society is in constant conflict between the simple traditional life-style and the ever growing technological advances made by their scientists, somewhat splitting it between rich and poor, tradion and technology.
Most of the Ornith lost the ability to fly due to a evolutionary defect that caused them to grow small degenerate wings. Those with normal sized wings are seen as a blessing from the gods and as an incarnation of those, who once flew among the stars. These honored and highly respected members of their society are most likely to become priests, political leaders or scholars.
