This is something that I never thought I would have to write, and it's been something that has been incredibly hard for me to do. But as I'm sure most of you are aware  blazewing117 passed away on Monday the 2nd of March 2020. He had been suffering for a while with terminal brain cancer.

It was discovered early last year when me and my partner  toothless-nightfury got home and found him in his room passed out. He was taken in an ambulance after having a seizure which is when we found out the news as to what was causing it. He was always an incredibly strong fighter, and we really thought that we had longer and the treatments that he was undergoing were helping. Sadly this was not the case, and he lost his battle on Monday the 2nd of March.

He has left behind an empty place in everyones hearts of those that knew him, and to his family and especially his girlfiend  pyeklet things will never be quite the same and I have a few words I would like to say to honour is memory.

I remember the first time that I really got to know Aaron, or Skyder. It was New Years Eve 2016 at a friends party. Everyone had started drinking, and what I saw was the most horrendous game I have ever seen. Drinking Roulette, mixed with UNO, what could go wrong?

Well… apparently lots of things could. I was holding his hair back while he was trying to hold back his lunch. Straight away, I knew that this was someone who I knew I could be friends with. Over the next few years, we became closer and closer as friends and eventually became house mates.

We always encouraged each other to make great decisions (or bad depending on who you ask!) but, we were always there for each other. We would always pick on each other, but he always had my back and I always had his.

As time went on, Aaron became more than a friend to me. He was like a brother, someone I could trust with everything. He was there for me when I was at my worst, and helped me pick things up when I fell flat on my face. Even when things went to utter crap, his positivity would always make bad things just seem to fly away.

The last year, seeing everything he went through, has been some of the hardest things I have ever seen. Finding him the night that we discovered something wrong was the most terrifying thing I have ever experienced, but I am so glad we were given a second chance to have a little more time with Him.

He was so brave, and always had other peoples feelings put even before his own. He’s one of the most selfless, and caring people I have ever had the honour of knowing.

But now he’s flying free, and no longer suffering. But he will always be looking down at us from the clouds above.
