I thought now for some time to do something with the first (sadly unfinished) original story I posted called Vanum. While I still enjoy it, especially the first part, I feel like a rewrite isn't just necessary to even out some mistakes but also to tighten things up a little.

Funny thing is, that the story in and of itself is already a full rewrite of a fanfiction or rather a fan adventure with a huge cast of original characters (much more than canon characters that appeared) I don't know if people figured it ever out what fandom it was as I never said it and not just filed off the serial numbers, so to speak, but also went down a daylong world building session to make everything as original as possible.

Well, now I feel comfortable to actually say what fandom it was, namely it was a Homestuck fan adventure set in Alternia because I thought of the whole world building with the Trolls as very interesting and worthy to explore a bid further. It was a nice exercise but soon I found the scope of the story I wanted to tell shift and morph into something that the world building of Homestuck didn't fit anymore as I had to headcanon so many details they started to stray so much from the canon I decided to turn it into an original story.

And now here we are, with me adding more stuff to write to my list XD. Yet, it's also something I need to make any progress on any story I currently write on. It helps me to write multiple different stories parallel since it helps me staying creative to avoid a full writer's block. Well, we'll see how fast I'll manage to be with everything from now on.
