Most of my followers know I haven’t been active or posting here for quiet some time. (A few years now)

But what sucks about being an artist is seeing how people will treat your generosity or artwork once they think your gone. I may not post or write but I’m around... I get on occasionally and I have seen a few things that just hurt.

What sucks is when people sell characters you gave them for special occasions or just to be nice just for them to turn around and sell those characters for little to no new art for a pretty penny. I know it’s been a few years but seriously check your notes. Or send me a message to confirm. If it was a gift don’t sell it with its previous art for a complete profit. It was a gift meaning you got it for free.

And my other favorite to see while here off and on in the background noise. People posting my old characters after they bought them from me and claiming all rights to the characters design and creation. You... you did not create them, you also did not design them. You purchased them from ME, I designed them, I created them, I put the time and effort into making them. You simply bought them. Just because you purchased a character from me doesn’t mean you designed it or created it. You may create lore. You may alter it’s look but the characters creator and designer is me.

I use to have a lot of respect for the furry fandom... I use to love it here... but now... people I thought were friends are claiming my designs as their own work... and people I gifted are selling characters they got for free. Yeah I know it’s been a few years and I’ve been MIA but I still get on here sometimes. I still see what goes on and have people tell me. It’s people like those individuals who make me glad I’m not around much anymore. What’s the point of being an artist when others use you as a stepping stone for profit or as a way for them to get some extra credit or recognition on something that’s not even their own work.
