Alrighties!

What would be a better first post on FA than a post of your first furry convention! So yes, I just have to post my thoughts somewhere to get rid of the oh so powerful post-con depression. The reason for this post being so long is that I'm currently stuck at the Frankfurt International airport and my plane leaves in about.. 14 hours? But anyways, I'll write two sections of my story, the short and long one, so anyfur can read the one that better fits them.

The short version:
Oh my god it was the best time in my life!

The long version:
So what should I really tell you and not tell you. There happened so much I can't even remember them. Let's start from the trip to EF13 and the Ringberg hotel in Suhl. I just have to tell you that if you don't know where you're going, you can't get help. Hardly anyone over 30 years is able to speak English. So what happened at one point was that our little group was stuck at Mainingen train/bus station because we had bus tickets to Suhl, but the bus drivers didn't want us in! :) After a little panicing and pondering we managed to get a few cabs to take us the hotel. They were actually quite cheap.

As we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by a pretty sign welcoming us to the con. I was so excited at that point that I can't even describe it. After wandering around the lobby we headed to our rooms to drop our bags and stuff. It was quite a nice hotel. Of course we didn't hang out in our rooms but went down to meet other furries, and after a while there were also fursuitters there! The fluffy things I've been wanting to see live for many years now. After that the rest of the con was mostly hanging at the lobby/downstairs stalking fursuits. I also met many nice furries from around Europe too. Unfortunately there was only a few furs I knew before the con, and I saw them rarely :(

The events at EF13 were just amazing. I didn't get to see the Pawpet Show, but hopefully I'll see it later on DVD or some other source. The Dealer's Den had lots of nice stuff on sale, but I only got a few comics and three bottles of booze. The art room was so full of great stuff which I would've wanted, but really couldn't afford. I still managed to get the "Posing Zebra Boy" by Inuki :)

I know I forgot to tell lots of important stuff, but I want to keep this relatively short that you fluffy butts don't get bored reading this (I wonder how many really wastes their time on this post). I also want to thank Farore for making my badges so well. Lots of furries thought they were very cute :)

Like the smart husky said before, I will be attending every EF from this moment on. Thanks to everyone for being there! ^__^
