Hello!
I am new to the fandom, or whatever term would describe my current status... I have always drawn vaguely anthropomorphic animals, and enjoy reveling in the seeming impossibility of incorporating the 'animal' into the 'human,' which I suppose lends itself to an appreciation of furry things.
Basically, I need an escape from looking at life and nature in the context of science, with the pretense of absolute rationality and impartiality (I work in a science-related field). The intuitive parts of my consciousness are wanting for a bit of exercise now and then.
