Welcome to the Paws For A Cause FA page! This is our outreach center for the Furry community as a whole until an official website can be created. We are a Non Profit Charity foundation, dedicated to taking up special causes, be it for a furry in dire medical need, or an animal charity.

December of 2010 we raised over 500$ for The Snow Leopard Trust, just from the donations given to us through Second Life! For Sporty Pup we raised $740, and for the Japan releif fund we have raised over $200 all with the help of caring furries in the community. With such a great success under our belts, we have decided to continue our Charity drives not only from SL, but to the fur community as a whole.

Paws for a Cause is a charity Foundation. We take on causes on behalf of other charities, bringing awareness to them and allowing people to donate through us in order to help those causes. We generally dont like to take on private causes as their just that, their private. The only way we intervene and create a charity on behalf of a person instead of an organization is when there's documented medical proof that it is a life and death situation for the person at hand. Please understand that this is not because we do not care, but the fact that we simply cannot take on all the every day emergencies of life for everyone in the fandom. Not to mention those who would lie/manipulate in order to try and get some easy money. Such is the mistrust born from the internet. However, if your situation is dire, let us know and we will make a journal pointing in your direction to help raise awareness of your current crisis.
