Yup, this is it, this is the end. Better late than never I guess, but fuck man, I took a while on this one. So yeah, for those still holding out hope, this account is officially closed for business. All requests are void, even those that were half-complete or had parts that were never completed. It's been over a year since I came here to talk to you all about things, almost 2 I think. It's definitely been one hell of a journey, this one, this was basically my first experience actually being the content creator and not just the consumer, and that comes with a hell of a lot of learning I had to do, and things that are gonna stick with me forever. I think everything boils down to one thing, and that's just the fear of disappointing those who have come to you for any reason. Requesters, followers, favorites, hell even just the casual viewer who came by once and left, never seen from again, you think about all of them no matter what you're uploading, and its easy to feel like you're walking on eggshells because you want everyone to hold a certain opinion of you. Giving up on things is something most of us are encouraged to avoid, but I think it's less giving up that we should avoid, but instead giving up on the wrong things. There's this idea, I think from screenwriting, that goes like, "You have to be willing to kill your baby," which basically just means you have to realize when things are in a state where there's no fixing it and you just have to start from square one. I think that's what happening here, I've realized it's time for me to kill my baby and start fresh again. By that token, yes, this does mean I'm making a new account, but I won't be linking it here nor will I ever say this was my old account on my new one. It won't be hard to figure out it's me, I won't exactly be hiding it, but I'll never outright say it. I know I have told a few of you I'd link you to the new account, so Note me if that's the case. Either way, this count is officially abandoned. I'll still be using it to browse the sight but no more art, no more comments, generally, no more journals, no more Notes, and especially no more uploads. Nothing will be deleted, I don't ever think you should be deleting an account if people are still finding and enjoying your content, and people still favorite my stuff every day so this account is staying up. I apologize to everyone who had a request that'll never go completed, but hey it's not like you payed me or anything, so in the end you didn't particularly lose anything except time requesting the art. I'll be seeing some of you later, and some of you never again, but in the end I wish the best to you all. And, as a last send-off sort of deal, if you guys could link your favorite piece of mine in the comments and say why it was your favorite, I feel it'd make for a good final send-off to this account.
