Hello. I'm a friendly, fuzzy black dragon who is very much into size differences and naughty abuse of power.
I live in the world as we know it and the world as we imagine it, so when we talk, I hope you don't mind I switch in and out of character very often.
I spice up my conversation with text-faces (and Telegram stickers) to make sure others are comfortable; if you let me, I can be very affectionate; or we can keep it polite and formal.
I'm not judgmental of kinks, if you like to talk about sex we can talk for hours. We can talk about science, or art. I value every branch of human knowledge, if you like debating and thinking critically, you have an ice-breaker right there.
Sometimes, when I meet new people, we speak the first day as if we had always been friends, they have become my best friends. If you're not afraid of strangers and don't mind my curiosity, I'd love to talk like that to you.
If you want to keep something secret, let me know, and it will be a secret. I will never try to harm you, except in self-defense. I will always try to be my best when we first meet, but after that I will give mostly what I receive, this is the golden rule, and I follow it, mostly.
Forgive me if I offend you, I try to tune in to the person I speak to, to give them the best I can offer, but I don't always achieve it. I am sorry if I wasn't what you expected.
And lastly, I seek truth. I hate to lie and I hate to be lied to. If you want me to be true, I will always* be true to you, even if you don't like what I have to say.
That's all for now.
A friend will never leave you alone (except when they do, and that's when you forgive them...)
* almost. You know nothing is perfect in this world.

I'm looking for a co-creator
Hello everyone. Unlike most journals where I talk about what is or was, and about myself, I want to talk about the future and about other people, maybe even you.
My game is reaching "presentability", that is to say it's close to be playable and in a state that could actually be "fun"; but I'm not progressing at all as fast as I could be, and a lot of this has to do with maintaining focus and engagement.
I know myself well and I know how motivating and engaging it is to do a challenging activity with someone else (hopefully a friend) for an extended period of time. My best programming has been pair programming, I've pulled great feats of heroic programming when teaming up with other people with whom I have "creative chemistry". THE PROBLEM, is that none of those people with whom I've had creative chemistry are my friends, they've just been cool coworkers, and I no longer work with them (and it hasn't been on games).
I'm not hard to befriend, but I have little tolerance for proud people, and let's not even speak of egomaniacs. PROBLEM IS, a lot of very talented people tend to be very proud of their abilities, often to an unhealthy level, and are unwilling to compromise. Every coworker with whom I've done this epic pair programming (2 so far) has been very skilled, but also flexible enough and humble to admit their mistakes, accept feedback, and take criticism in stride.
I'm looking for someone to team up creating games, we don't have to work on the same project, we could be working on separate projects, but the idea is to draw the best in each other by collaborating.
I don't know where to find this elusive co-creator but I'll let you know what I'm looking for, and maybe you can help me find them, or you can help them find me:
0.- They should like simulation, strategy or survival games and the creation thereof, otherwise I'd be finding a normal friend, not a friend to co-create with XD
1.- They need to have self-confidence. People who constantly doubt themselves are a problem because they tend to be passive about their goals, they let other people take decisions, they constantly ruminate about how inadequate they are, and all of that acts like a strong drag and inertia that doesn't let you create.
2.- They shouldn't be very competitive. I really don't get along well with competitive people, I don't like constantly engaging in comparisons and I'm not motivated by hustle; ideally our collaboration shouldn't be based on competing to motivate each other, it should be based on doing what we love and nerding out about it, thus building up excitement.
3.- If this person is young or inexperienced but fulfills the other requirements maybe we can still collaborate, I'm good with mentoring people, I was a teacher before I changed professions! But you gotta have an inner drive to be better, otherwise this isn't going to work. As for me, I just need engagement and motivation, I can give experience back in return.
Well that's it. I'm open to all kinds of suggestions on where to go looking for other people.
Here's a short list of places I've decided not to look for partners on and my rationale for it:
A.- Game Jam competitions. I do not believe in, and do not enjoy, competitions; whoever I meet here is unlikely to have a personality that mixes well with mine.
B.- Big chat channels about topic X. Directly engaging strangers is a long process and a pain, and unlikely to succeed. I've met most of my friends like that, but after meeting hundreds of strangers, only a small fraction of them have actually become my friends, and this has taken many years or decades, it's not a quick process.
I think I'm much more likely to find the right person if we get introduced by mutual friends or something, you know? So I'm trying here first. If this fails I'll think of something else.
Thanks for reading and please leave a comment, say what you think, even if you disagree; maybe especially if you disagree.
