Memories... sometimes I really hate them. This is one of those times. For those of you wondering about... let me think of the Human term for it... oh, right, my "ex". Well, here is a glimpse of my story...


"You can't tell me you're honestly in love with that boorish bastard!"


"I am, Pherrick! I love him! He asked me to be his--"


"Don't you dare say it! You promised me you would wait! Was that promise of yours nothing but empty words?"


"You can't hold that against me! Not after ten years! You were supposed to only be gone for three!"


"So how many years after that did you wait for me? Or was it mere days before you moved on!"


"Two years Pherrick! I waited for two years before answering the question he'd been asking me for the past three!"


"So you mean to tell me that ass started asking you an entire year before I was originally due to return?"


"Yes, and I told him I had promised you. I kept my promise! I waited for you! How long was I supposed to wait? Eternity if you never returned? I only received your letters for the first year and a half! After that there was nothing! Three and a half years I waited to hear something from you before I told him yes! At that point, for all I knew you were dead!"


"You should have waited! I promised I'd return to you and you knew I wouldn't break it! I loved you! You knew I was finishing my studies so I could return to you as a dragon you could be proud of to be with!"


"Pherrick, I--"


"Just... go. Now!"


"Pherrick!"


"Go now and LEAVE ME!"


I don't know why I felt compelled to type this up for all to see... however, perhaps some of you will now understand why I am the way I am. Truly, I cannot entirely be blamed... can I?
