Hello, I'm Naoki ^_^
That is not my real name, or even my nickname. It is a name of my "fursona" I guess if you can call it that. I have no fur, but wings of red and gold! ^^ I'm an elegant phoenix, very classy, old fashioned with romance, deeply intellectual, obsessed with technology and love philosophy. I like to think of myself as wearing a masquerade mask on my face, a beautiful black and gold one that makes my eyes stand out. I'm full of passion and loyalty and demand honesty from people. I wouldn't label myself as a furry because I don't really live a "furry" lifestyle but I do support them 100% and I don't understand how so many people judge and hate them. I have come to see this view in a different perspective because my best friend (a sweet loving fox) in the whole world is a furry, and I would fight to the death defending him and his beliefs. All my life I have imagined myself as a beautiful phoenix, and always felt that if they did exist, I would be one.
I'm not Native American but I have an Eagle spirit who watches over me. I definitely love Eagles and they guide me in my spiritual journey. I believe in taking care of the Earth, because the Earth is what sustains us.
I'm probably quite different from the rest of the crowd here on Fur Affinity but I would love to meet and make some friends on here. I guess in all honestly, I'm looking for new people to talk to and I'm definitely looking to make some long term friends. I would love to be able to have people that can open up to me about their lives, and likewise. I love helping people and love listening to peoples life story.
Well, I love anime, cars, computing, gaming, cats (I haz a bunch ^_^), and photography. I'm straight & taken, so not looking for a boyfriend, just a few good friends. I prefer to make male friends than female but I don't mind having female friends. I just haven't found any ones that are "cool" in my eyes, and it seems all the cool ones are too busy with their life but people are people and I welcome all sorts of friends.
I definitely have written a lot but hope it draws the interest of some people out there. ^_^

Doesn't it always seem.... (G)

Is it just me, or is it true that when you want to talk to someone, they're never around or don't have time for you, but the people you don't want to talk to are the ones that always seem to want to be around you?
Today, I had an interesting experience. Someone added me on Skype and started telling me things like "You are beautiful" and well, I get on the defensive because he saw my picture first in my display thingy. . . now I'm definitely all for making friends but I don't know why it bothered me so much. Then again, I have had stalker after stalker obsess over me, (god, don't even know why) so as a defense, when people tell me stuff like that, and continue to keep flattering me, my animal instinct bursts into flames and I snap. I felt bad once I calmed down, and told him that I only act on the defensive because of my past and well he forgave me quickly enough and continued to talk to me. It was just very odd though, because I know the only reason he was talking to me was because of my looks. He didn't stop mentioning them.
For once, I'd like to be accepted for my personality first, and then my looks, so I refuse to show anyone my picture on here until I feel they're deserving of it.
Besides that, I don't get to blog about my life. My boyfriend thinks it is stupid that I even try to. He said "Everything you write can be traced back to you". So whatever, I have to use a whole new name and under a whole new site just to talk about my feelings, since it seems he doesn't have much time to listen to me anymore. It goes the same with my best friend too....we barely talk anymore. I've just been very lonely because of both of these situations, and have not had people that I can truly call a "friend" anymore.
I guess its one of the things about being a phoenix, you're rare, and there aren't going to be too many people like you, that will even accept or understand you so you tend to live a life of solitude. It's alright though. I know there are people out there somewhere, I just don't know where to look.
